What you said about this being made in the '90's made me think of this: Robert Zemekis is using the same tropes he has since FOrrest Gump, 30 years ago, and critics aren't as impressed now, getting wise to the act.

No, this movie is not going to work for a lot of people, but that's why I find experiments like this so fascinating. For what it's worth, I had a good time with this and I can safely say I've never seen a movie try anything exactly like it, although the comparisons to Cloud Atlas are very accurate. The editing and camerawork might be the best of Zemeckis's career, and the guy has two editing Oscars in his filmography.

I hadn't heard about this movie until seeing this review pop up in my subscriptions, but I'm glad I did learn about its existence. Even if it's not something I'd really seek out to watch myself, I can appreciate when a film (or any form of art for that matter) tries something out of the ordinary like this, and I respect it.

I’m glad I watched this on Halloween, ‘cause seeing that hideous AI “teenage” Tom Hanks on the big screen was the biggest scare I’ve had in a theater all year.

I saw trailer and i would love this as a anthology series where each episode is a period but you see crossover's from foreshadowing future episode to reflect a past episode as if you was born and living in these periods
