Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. I've lived in the same house for 52 years. I know what it's like to experience time unfold in one space. People and pets come and go. Bush turns to farms, to land subdivisions, to houses on acreage, to added community infrastructure. Trees in backyards disappear to accommodate more houses on smaller blocks. Apartments creep in. People are born and die, young and old. Love is found and lost, or remains beyond the grave. Thoughts evolve from simple to complex, then simple again. Longtime residents grow from infancy to one of the few remaining custodians of local history. A living witness to time on Earth. 🌏 An explorer of time, charting a course that can only be travelled once. ⏳

An original, positive, mature, uplifting story with actual movie stars? I thought Hollywood had forgotten how to make those. More of this please!

I like the idea of timelines captured in a single frame, it’s like a movie stage play

Too sad. It looks beautiful. Maybe it's just my age, but too sad. My husband and I sold our first home when we were in our early 60s. I walked through the house one last time trying to hide my tears. So much had happened! Now, he's gone and I'm living in our second home, and sometimes, the tears fall. I expect to hear his voice summoning me to see something on his computer, or ask me why I'm not up yet, or asking me what is for dinner... life passes by so very fast. A home without love is just a house. Time is the cruelest master of all.

Uncanny valley and Robert Zemeckis. Name a more iconic duo.

“You could spend the night here.”
“I could spend the rest of my life here.”
.
Simple quotes, but with the majestic meaning.
Zemeckis at his finest.

In an era where risk-taking in cinema is increasingly rare it's good to see Zemeckis willing to just go for it.

The first time I saw this trailer, the de-aging on Tom and Robin's face was so good... I thought Robert Zemekis made this the same way "Boyhood" was made.

I highly recommend the graphic novel this is based on. “Here” is by Richard McGuire and set in the same exact perspective, spanning decades, centuries, millions and even billions of years across all time periods (but especially the events inside the room). I spotted so many shots in this trailer taken directly from the book, so I’m excited

I am already crying at the T-Rex running away from the meteorite. I won't make it 'til the end.

There are no words. This takes the cake. Thank you, Robert Zemeckis, for understanding American history and presenting it in such an emotional way. 😭❤️
