A massive gap would appear between Central and Eastern Europe, giving Hungary and Bulgaria extensive coastlines and bringing the Black Sea deeper into Europe. Historically, no Romania means no Dacians, no Roman conquest in the region, and no Latin-based language in Eastern Europe.

Culturally, Europe would lose the legend of Vlad the Impaler, and therefore, no Dracula! Tech companies like Bitdefender and UiPath wouldn’t exist, nor would familiar brands like Dacia, Rompetrol, and Emag. In sports, the world would never know Gheorghe Hagi or Simona Halep’s legendary achievements.
