Thank you for an effort, you put in your videos. Truly appreciate your knowledge and passion for sharing it too. Facing this issue while recording in garageband. Recently bought yamaha mg 10xu and shure sm 58. for recording of a cover song in garageband.
So in process, I draged karaoke track from music. Connect USB cable in mixer and another end to iphone with lightening USB camera 3 adaptor( apple product) connect shure mic with XLR cable, sets level, and gain too. Used headphones as required. So now the problem is that, when I record my vocals, vocal volume is very low and I hardly can see the waves in the vocal track. Please do guide or if you can make a video on this. Thank you Sir.

great video!😊 i have to correct you in one thing though (sorry 😬)
...the difference between 16-bit and 24-bit audio isn’t just a third, because it's based on a logarithmic scale. 16-bit audio has 65, 536 possible amplitude values (2^16), while 24-bit has over 16 million (2^24). That’s 256 times more precision. Each bit adds about 6 dB to the dynamic range, so 16-bit offers 96 dB, while 24-bit provides 144 dB. So the improvement is far more significant than just one-third—24-bit audio allows for much higher resolution and dynamic range, especially important in professional audio.

If u already have stuff recorded and you change it to 24 bit will it sound better or stay the same?
