In 2019 Denmark tightened its immigration controls— making refugee status more temporary. Denmark has now decided Damascus, the Syrian capital, is safe, meaning some 380 Syrian refugees are facing the prospect of having to leave Denmark.

Why aren't you showing us how and what led the Danish people to reach this decision? It can't have happened out of nowhere.

Saudi Arabia has deported thousands of Ethiopian Refugees. Not only Danish, many other countries do it regardless of religion,

Denmark has the right to make it's own decisions.

As a Dane, you clearly have no idea how many problems the Syrian refugees are causing in my country! Believe it or not, but there actually *is* a reason our government is acting like it does, as the problems that follow from letting in people from the Middle East in general has proven again and again to heavily outweigh the benefits.

Maybe you should next do a report on why countries such as Saudi Arabia are not willing to take their fellow Arab people in for shelter? I applaud the Danes very much by looking at this issue and coupling it to a harsh but realistic immigration policy.

They just want to save their culture and they have the right to do it. We are with Denmark

When the foreign reporter thinks, he knows better than the native citizen, because he interviewed a refugee.

Okay so I’m not even strictly anti immigration per se and don’t really agree with what Denmark is doing, but this reporting is REALLY biased. There was no discussion about the types of problems increased immigration has caused (increasing crime, self segregated areas that aren’t really a part of mainstream society because people refuse to integrate etc) I mean even in the report where he was trying to be like “oh people are integrating well” a lot of people responded in Arabic which isn’t really showing that integration has worked out. There aren’t really any arguments as to why immigration would be considered good either, it’s all emotions, the sad music, shots of people crying, etc. I’m not against having a discussion on these kinds of topics but it should be factually based not just “feel sorry for these people”

After seeing how the migrants are treating Denmark, Scandinavia and the rest of Western Europe, I say that the Danes have a total right to do something about this problem. I wish that the rest of the West would follow their example before we become minorities in our own countries.

vice is really starting to piss me off. They aren't showing why they want them out and only make the Danish look bad. Show both sides before you try to make a valid argument. I don't remember where exactly but they started protesting when the Muslims wanted things to be done to fit their lifestyle over the native population. Anyone would be pissed if someone went to your country and tried to force you to change your lifestyle to fit theirs.

Good for Denmark, more countries need to be like Denmark.

The Danish don’t want giant ghettos, even if you visit Copenhagen the “low income housing” is still very nice in comparison to many of Denmark’s counterparts, when I visited to study urban planning I learned that the Danish build things very slowly and strategically because it’s a small country and they like to think things through before implementing them, that’s what I learned from the Danes anyway in this regard. It’s not always just about racism or just Danes being cold to outsiders, Denmark has cultivated a very safe place for their citizens and they don’t want to risk that and I can’t blame them.

Its always someone else’s fault, but it’s never the fault of “guests” who are given a second chance of living a healthy and safe life, but refuse to adapt and integrate. Respect to Denmark for protecting their country, something countries like France, Netherlands, and Belgium failed to do.
Ofcourse there will be a proper percentage of immigrants behaving themselves, but you can’t blame the danish government for putting conclusions out of recent developments.

I met a Swedish girl. I'm from Eastern Europe. She told me- in our Swedish schools, I was told that crime is normal in all European big cities. Then I came to Prague and Budapest and I was shocked that I could walk alone at night in these cities without fear.

Notice how they interview a very progressive Syrian young lady and don't go to the areas where they are wearing veils and refusing to let the women leave the apartment.

Danes have a right to determine who comes into their country and they have compassionately allowed some in. They also have a right to protect their own culture & way of life and to decide when they risk being overwhelmed by the immigrant population. It is Denmark's right & duty to look after the interests of their citizens.

Danes dont want to keep these people in their country and they have the right. They allowed asylum too earlier. Something must have changed for them to change their opinion significantly. As it is Denmark has very less population and a significant influx of migrants would alter the demography, culture etc, at a very broad level.
