Pro window to brick caulking tips

It seems like everybody is a critic. I just used your method on caulking around my door to brick and it worked quite well. I’ve always had trouble getting a good caulk line and using the tape method helped considerably. Thanks for posting.

Why are So many making videos of everything Wrongly done with caulking?? I haven’t seen one video yet where someone can even run the gun let alone knife and tool. None of these guys are bona fide legit caulkers Flim Flam men

I live in Maryland and would love to hire someone who took the time to do it like this but I've never seen any contractor use the blue tape. Nice work there!

Anothrr video they pressed the tape into the brick indents & used a much thinner line of caulk. After tape was removed, the caulking wasnt done well...barely in the brick indents and too thin.

Kill the tape, all you do is press the nozzle end flat, and caulk slowly (downward away from brick face

Maybe a homeowner tip but absolutely horrendous to watch to a professional lol that tape and backer Rod takes way too much time, just use the right caulk with the right size hole, experience equals zero tooling.

what u did here is exelent but if you had messure the hole better you wooding has to put that much calk

It doesn't look correct to me. I'd love to see it after 10 years. I suspect it'll have multiple failures and folks will shrug it off like it was inevitable.

Using tape takes way too long and adds more cost...this is ok if u have just 1 window but if u have numerouse its just too time consuming

Not a great video. Needs instructions and commentary and add info to comments acoustic what type of caulk etc.
