Simple Toon Shader in Blender (with image textures, outlines and color lighting)

My way of getting a simple anime-style toon shader effect (with outlines) in Blender. This is an easy way to use image textures and light colors together with the toon shader.

Awesome, concise, tutorial. I wish more on youtube were like this. I was having trouble with the screen and add lights and rim lights, until I noticed you changed the mapping node "type" from point to texture. Then everything worked.

Love it... I have just started doing tutorials on blender. I am an accomplished modeler...(3d printers and all) but all the texturing and node wrangling is new to me. I have no idea how these people come up with the combinations of these nodes... There has to be some form of destruction manual for them.
