I’m sure you already realized this. I’m only halfway through the video if the topic comes up again, but it’s a lot easier if you just put the little black plug on the drive before even trying to insert the drive into the enclosure. it makes it awkward doing it the way you did it because you have limited room for your fingers to work. before ever touching the enclosure, insert the retainer into the edge of the drive, now slot the drive into the enclosure and lower the other end so the latch can be inserted. This is the way a lot of toolless enclosures work. slightly different variations on the black retainer, but installation method is the same
