How To Lubricate A Treadmill Belt

I have just bought myself a treadmill called Core Treadmill 2500, but I simply cannot figure out how to change the height on this machine 0-15%, because you can, but you have to start up quietly. your video was very useful in terms of lubricating and maintaining your treadmill

Cheers mate, fixed my brothers brand new 600$aud OVICX A2s using this guide, (Edit: my OTHER brother lubed it up but the belt was grinding on one side which has made it slightly frayed). Wasnt sure if it was compatible. Now I can shed some kilos!! Not to mention the nephews can run and push it to its limits and destroy it faster than I can try to fix it haha

Concerning the treadmills that don't have easy belt access, to keep you from having to loosen, tighten and re-align the belt (what a pain), simply stand the machine on end and apply belt lube to the under side of the belt. May take two people.

Warning: direct heat will cause the lubricant to dry up very fast. Don't place the unit by a window with direct sunlight or near a heating element at home - including when the unit is in the folded position.

Take care of it, and it lasts a long long time. I have a SCHWINN 6700.1 treadmill that I purchased on April 2, 1999. To lube it, all I have done is take a big white candle and scrape off small bits of wax with a cheese grater, and then I evenly distribute the bits of wax under the belt. Works like a charm. Other than that, I have replaced the motor belt, once. There was a nasty scratch on the front plastic cover that covers the motor area, so I sanded it down, but now the sanded area looked grey instead of dark black. So I applied the same candle wax to the area and heated it up with a hair drier to make the wax easily distributed, and boom, after polishing you couldn't tell where the scratch was anymore.
