What is the Internet of Things?

Hi Kevin, I am really impressed by what you are thinking and insisting. To my understanding about IoT, the basic technologies which are used for the IoT are not quite new. Of course, some of them are modified or newly created, for examples, CoAP or MQTT. And they are fare enough for everyone, and here is my question : what kind of business models you have will be effective? I mean, many persons around the planet talk about the importance of IoT but I couldn't find out a good service model. Of course, you've pointed out some good examples like Google's acquisition of Nest for $3.2B in 2014 and it is a good model. Anyway, please let me know some other examples or what you think. Thanks
