JD Vance Tries And FAILS To Defend Sexist Comments

"Vice presidential hopeful Sen. JD Vance tried to clean up his resurfaced attack on “childless cat ladies” in an interview Friday, asserting that he was not criticizing people who do not have children, while accusing Democrats of adopting “anti-family and anti-kid” messaging and policies.

Vance’s response, delivered on conservative media personality Megyn Kelly’s SiriusXM podcast, comes after a yearsold video clip went viral this week which shows him questioning some Democrats for not having biological children — specifically naming Vice President Kamala Harris, now the likely Democratic nominee for president. Harris has two stepchildren."

Here’s what I don’t understand (well one of the many things) about people like Vance. He is legit acting like the younger generations and the rest of us don’t want kids. But have they considered the cost of housing? Not having healthcare guaranteed? No paid family leave and no affordable options or help with childcare? Most of us are living from paycheck to paycheck and worried that we can’t take care of ourselves (or our cats) let alone a child. Like it’s mind boggling to me they just assume we’re all anti-children without delving into why this phenomenon is happening.

Pete Buttigieg just had 2 lovely children with his husband Chastain and Kamala raised her step daughter who ended up becoming a wonderful adult.
I'm sure AOC will make a great mom one day and even if she doesn't, it's fine. What matters is that she's smart and compassionate and will be a great President after Kamala's second term.
