Nobody looks more like a police officer and a bank robber at the same time than this man.

Thanks for being brave enough to do this, it's really helped me out today, I spent 15 years in the RAF Regiment No2sqn, at 47 I'm a recovering heroin addict and a benzoes addict and alcoholic, I'm going to rehab on Friday morning and I'm bricking it, but to know anyone can have this happen is, well I feel I bit less anxious, so thank you

Something very relatable with this guy. Might be my favourite interview so far. Good luck Gary and congrats on choosing a family over addiction. Amazing.

I love this interview style.
Thanks for putting the on-screen notes for those of us not in the UK. Helps provide some context to the story.

He seems like all the trouble, pain, trauma, mistakes ect have made this man truely carved out of stone. You have my respect sir, thank you for sharing, I do not doubt this will save lives. God bless.

‘Ladbible’ You’ve pulled it out the bag - metaphorically speaking, with this one.
Cocaine is truly awful stuff. Well done Gary for sharing, and for the changes you’ve made in your life.

The most honest interview I’ve heard. Fair play to him getting his life back together.

I'm so happy he's deep into recovery, bless his soul... Nearly 11 years myself, infact I've 8 days to go.. didn't mean for this comment to be about myself 😮 .. anyway good for him

This channel somehow gets the absolute best out of people in terms of storytelling. Amazing work.

This one was quite shocking, how deranged he became in pursuit of a high. Of course this is part and parcel of hard drugs, but still it's surprising how far he took it.

One thing I'd like to have heard a bit more about is the victims of the robberies though. I felt like maybe he hasn't really come to terms with that yet. I've heard stories of people having guns pointed at them during robberies who've needed therapy for years after. For a normal, law-abiding civilian, something like that can be extremely traumatic.

Com'on Ladbible how are you not getting tens of thousands of views with quality content like this?!

Such a great interview, the guy is clearly very intelligent and remorseful and i'm very glad he's doing well now and helping others too!

It's important what he said about his childhood being good and him having a good life and a good job overall, that's how bad addiction is. It can take you and ruin your life and you don't even see it. The amount of people I've met who were chill about drugs and later had scares...
