The Two Towers was the best LOTR movie of the trilogy, and Pippin's singing to the mad King while the young men went out pointlessly to die in battle was the best bit in The Two Towers IMO. Never mind all the maudlin drawn-out farewells in ROTK: that was the one bit in the whole exciting and well-made trilogy that truly made me tear up. (My SO and I adore Boyd's farewell song from The Hobbit movie, too.) Nuff said.
