It's not just even a daughter in law, but your life becomes upside down when your brothers and sisters act in such a manner.

I find it hard to believe that one can just come in for sometime and take away half your things.

If my parents formed a public charitable Trust and made me a Trustee...then?Now the question is should it be an irrevocable trust or revocable?

Better to divorce wife never take her back if she has filed false cases it's better to fight in the beginning than bring her back and she create a huge ruckus later and then u are forced to pay huge amounts

I had this question in mind for a long. Me and My ex-wife live in a city and my parents live in our ancestral famland in the village. She was demanding from me 50% of the share of property i was to inherit. I kept telling her, she has not rights in that land as all of the land is in Father's name and I have not inherited any yet. But she kept on insisting she had rights to my ancestral property being my wife .lol.. I just told her that no one would hand it out on a platter (if she still thought she had a share) and asked her to venture out, get a lawyer, file a suit, pay the lawyers, conduct the case, attend hearings and come back with a court order and my father will be happy to comply. Listening to all these steps made her impatient. Just cursed me and went back to doing her work.

If I remember correctly, there was a case 2yrs back where a judge said that to husband to sell off his ancestral property to pay pending maintenance or alimony or something.

Well explained. That is the actual law. Without a will, the property automatically goes to the children. And as long as the parents live it is all their properties.

I Heard from someone that Supreme court 's Lawyers charge 💸💸 for even meeting/normal discussion about your case, He/She will take your case or not that's the another thing. And here is our Agarwal Saab, I see him as an Honest, helpful information for the real Victims who suffers a lot because of the Corrupt and tedious time killing "SYSTEM" ❤ Ton of thanks to you Sir.🙏🏻🙏🏻

But ex-wife can put claim on the property on behalf of her child.
So... you'll have to deal with that too.
