I loved that the video had fresh ideas and not a rehash of other videos. Kristina, I loved all your blouses. You look great. 😀

@J&KStayinVegas can you make a video about indoor shortcuts between casinos like the tip you did about AC between the Linq and Flamingo?

Great video. Our first ever time in Vegas we nearly got had by the hotel time share sellers as we thought they were hotel staff trying to help. Not funny when you're carrying all your luggage.

Great tips! I've made the mistakes of not noting where I parked, not knowing where to get water, and not having a reservation for the Wynn Buffet.

No longer a rookie but first time i did make the mistake or thinking i could walk and see every casino on the Strip, hard to tell on film but in person the resorts are massive and can take a while to walk to threw, plus they are not as close together as u mentioned ..
Found out fast you need to take a bus or get a taxi/uber to get around...

Very good video. One thing though, the part you talked about booking directly at the hotel/casino applies to people that drive. People that book a flight and hotel together for Vegas find it much cheaper. It costs more to book separate.

I made the mistake of mistaking the distances between Casino’s. Never again

Great tips!
Have been visiting Las Vegas since 1990. WOW, can't believe 33 years. Definitely made some of these mistakes early on.
Biggest mistake, taking my cute shoes. Now I take nice but comfortable shows.
Underestimating distance to get to hotel in 110 degree weather.
Visiting Las Vegas during 1000 degree weather. Yes, exaggerated the weather but it gets super hot. First visit was in Aug 1990. It was crazy hot.
Not drinking enough water. This applies during cold weather too, especially if you are drinking alcohol.
Not using or re-applying sunscreen. Definitely use sunscreen all year long.
Freezing a bottle of water is something we do too when traveling anywhere but I put a small thin towel around it due to condensation. Best part is the towel get nice and cool too so wrap around your neck for extra cooling.

Never had a problem booking through a secondary source. Save lots of $ and never had a problem. Just stayed at Palazzo for $73 plus fees midweek. Don’t chase comps.

I'd argue to get some form of multiple of water for the room, a six pack or 2. Have one before going to bed and when getting up, just to be safe.

Re: Sunscreen - an added tip, the roll-on sunscreen can fit pretty easily in your pocket or person, and if your worried about touch ups (neck, receeding hairline if you're a guy, etc) this is much more convient.

Regarding the casinos and distance - when going from the Strip to immediate off-Strip this goes double as the concern isn't just distance, but potential road safety, if you are planning on walking from the Strip to the Palms or Orleans, I'd advise against it and show crossing.

Hello J&K, I just saw this video of yours and saved it. Many useful tips for which I thank you very much. We were in Vegas in 2019 and want to make a similar trip again next year. We then parked our car on the upper deck, but not noted where! When we wanted to pick up the car we were on the wrong deck and saw our car on the other side on another deck🤣 So thanks for the tip and for taking a photo next time, that will save us effort and time Kind regards to you from the Netherlands🥰

Fun and creative video! I've mad the mistake of not booking through the hotel directly. Love the beginning of the video and Jeff walking in his comfortable shoes! Haha! 😋🤗

9:40 Instead of waiting for the crosswalk lights at the Paris entrance, I walk up to the Arc de Triomphe, cross over there and come back down on either side depending on the direction I'm going. Keeps you moving, less danger of traffic and no waiting in the sun.
Also when you get to the Venetian on the sidewalk heading towards the pedestrian bridge to get to the Wynn, there's a sliding double glass door entrace at Venetian. Take that, go straight through to the next set of sliding glass doors and continue outside to the bridge.
Why? you just avoided the street trash hustlers that crowd that little section trying to bug the hell out of people!
