Normal vs. Abnormal Periods

Normal periods are usually between 25 and 35 days. From the beginning of one period to the beginning of the next is called “the cycle length”, explains Dr. Debra Kenward, Obstetrician and Gynecologist with Baptist Health South Florida.
The expert advises visiting the specialist when the cycle is not following the rules. If the cycle starts at 21 days, or after 35 days, it’s important to evaluate it.

I first started my period around 4 years ago. It used to be very regular and have a normal amount of blood each time. In the past two years it has slowed down to maybe happening 5 times at max in a year with an extremely light amount of blood. I’m afraid to see my doctor because I am very self-conscious and this is a cakewalk compared to how others describe their periods..

My cycle length changes each month. One month it will be 29 days, the next month 41 days, and then the next month 22 days😫

I can get a 24 day cycle in fall winter and up to 29 30 in the summer. More daylight = longer, less daylight = shortens? Unless stress is throwing me into early menopause 😂

For the first few years, my cycles were always exactly 28-29 days, but now, my cycles generally fall into the 25-35 day range and they can vary a lot. It might be 26 then 34 then 29 then 31 then 28 then 35. It's unpredictable but I don't know that there's really anything wrong.

Hi Doc good afternoon im 36 yrs old
I have two kids..and since highschool i have abnormal mentuation almost 1 yr & 2 months..
Now for the first time my period is 3 months..use some of pads night & day i use 15 packs of napkins.. please help me.

Im single and i have two kid's
Doc since im highschool i have the abnormal menstruation.. few years my cyle always exactly 28-31 day's..but for now my cycle generally full into the 60 days..and for the first time i have a period almost 3 months untill now...i use some of napkins night and day.. i use 15 packs of napkins and sometimes i can't use if im home..
It's unpredictable but i don't know that there's really anything wrong..
