A little sharing here. Keeping your flower in the silicon sand in a few weeks, it will become brittle and easily shattered. 3 to 5 days is enough. By the way, keep the flower right side up in silicon. The way you put it will make it tilt and imbalanced.

Hang it upside down. Works well with my other plants. Learned it from drying roses

Place it inside your choice of epoxy resin shaped mold to encase it. Sure it takes up more space but there are also other ways. I’m new to epoxy resin crafts, so that’s why I mentioned it, in particular. ❤

umm the color will eventually fade away no matter the method I like to just coat them in titanium (guide put them in a vacuum chamber and have a coil of titanium wire preferably the thinnest you can get in the chamber with a high current the titanium will coat everything in the chamber and totally coat the flowers)
Since titanium is a really fun metal you can also color them with a blow torch or some electricity. but they usually come out a different kind of pretty.

heyyy, I'm a new resin artist and got a rose like this for preservation- it looks so dried up and crusty, is there a way to make it shiny? Or look better?

You do know that you can just plant the rose and it blooms right?

You don’t have to wait too few weeks. This will dry up in 2 days.

Why go through all the steps. You have a plastic rose in hand. Are you blind not to realise that?
