Home depot tiny homes. The new affordable home just under $50K.

Would you buy some land and then put a tiny home on it?

You could possibly pay off the tiny home within a matter of years.

Payoff 45K (tiny home) in 5 years if you plan everything accordingly.

$1000 a month × 12 months= $12k/ year.

Apartments are tiny already, so why not get some land and throw a tiny home on it.

I'm not saying to do this, but you could possibly buy the tiny home with a credit card with 0% interest the first 12-21 months, depending on what the card offers. ( again, just a thought ).

Give me your thoughts!

Its illegal in California unless you already own a home on the property atleast for traveler trailers. You cant buy land in California and put a travel trailer on it unless theres a house on it already. The system isnt built for poor peoples

Its just a shell too. So no not worth it. Im building my own using a the shed method. 16 by 36ft. Not bad for just me and some animals on half an acre.

So at the end of the day your gonna have to pay 200, 000 after lot buy and all the other things like plumbing ect when you can get a 3 bedroom house for that same thing down south or in Midwest

Unfortunately you can’t just buy a plot of land and put this on it in 99% of situations. I’m doing this, but it’s considered an adu… Ganna be building in at the back of my family’s property, I bought the acre next to the property thinking I could do this, but funny thing. I can’t build solely this on it. It has to be an add on to an already existing house. So looks like I’m building it exactly 30ft to the left…

It is smarter to buy a mobile with double the space and the interior finished. Buy used and remodel even.

I would put it in back in my present home for a mother-in-law Casita

Are you factoring in the cost of a well & septic?

I wouldn't pay that much for land to begin with, in Florida you can buy 5 acres for $50, 000, in North Florida and live in a 540-square-foot home, it would have me be just me and very part-time.

yeah sure, but your not all in for that. You need utilities and permits. In some place like New york you have to wonder if your even allowed, need permission for everything.

Somebody would make a killing it they would just build the tiny homes that look all modern and cool like this for half that price.

Can't within city limits. Maybe out in county area. Don't forget the cost of water, sewage & electric connections.

The home is only the frame for 44... You need to add everything it will be more like 100k all in depending on finishes

This is what I'm doing in AZ. I found out you can have a primary home and a ADU as a tiny home. "I love Arizona"

No, the only way I would put in an upgraded shed is on existing land. Like for my kid or guests
