Hi,

I used to teach computer science in a college before retiring, I loved teaching my students the alternative to traditional programming by using the fun way of using making movies by writing script. My question to class before the teaching alternative to programming was this question: “why do you go to movies? What does a movie mean to you?” After getting all sort of flavors of answers. Then, I started talking about my version of what does movie mean to me. I used to tell students, look at a movie as a solution to a problem, then I used to get them involved in small project using writing script in simple English and making storyboards and identifying verbs a noun, then making scenes, in the storyline, and put sound and some editing, … without these new toolsets. Now, I am very happy to see these new advancement. My hat-up to all young people who are learning an developing these tools, you are on the correct path of using computer science with more power tolls at everyone’s disposal.
