As technology improves, we need to put emphasis on simplifying rather than making things more complex. This is a great example, I love how as you've grown your channel, and your wisdom relating to your lifestyle, you are now distilling it into a easy to digest format.

SHAWN & OUR CALI !!! I am just one of the Older Ladies who has done a lot of logging like this but you are doing Bigger & better things with it now !!! So I watch what you put on out to me as I am still interested plus able to think this is how it is done !!! Shawn is doing rocks for the chicken coop !!! Or Shawn is pulling up the flat floor there as it is rotten now !!! All in all I just think of what would have happened if it sat out in the rain or snow together it would take a toll on the wood there !!! It’s such a joy seeing you ‘subduing the earth’ to have food, long-term produce, not by clearing all the produce in a short time, but by thinking long term. I find it so inspiring, even though our situation is totally different. The lesson is to do what *we* can on what *we* have.

Could you plant some hazel and cob trees in for extra winter feed for bears, deers etc, if you planted Holly trees that you can encourage birds etc for food products.But also gives all round cover and protection for deer. Maybe raise the shed on stone blocks before building the floor good drainage and less rotting. You have plentbof stone by your tool shed win win fir you.

My heart is full of gratitude Shawn for all that you do for the land and the animals, especially the animal sanctuary you showed us. I miss living in the woods very much, but I am grateful to have some sort of access through your videos.
