HOW TO properly rename Cheat Engine to defeat basic anti-cheat (prevent detection of CE)

Every now and then I get questions from people "how can you hack this or that game, my game crashes instantly or i get banned if i use cheat engine", well this video is reply to those questions.

I have come across some games in past that scan running processes or "installed programs" list and will detect any known hacking tools, including cheat engine.
Cheat engine itself doesn't have any means to hide itself, but by using this simple method, you'll increase the chances of NOT getting detected.

I wouldn't know how many games use this nowdays, because I have been using this trick for many years and I'm not going to test either, but I know some games instantly close when "cheat engine" is present.
I think some Forza Horizon games (or all) might have such check too. It won't ban you, but game will instantly close if it's detected. The Crew also had it, possibly The Crew 2 too.

UPDATE - YES this works on latest (CE 7.5), i literally just tested, because bunch of half-wits kept on leaving whiny comments that it doesn't work, so i wanted to test and be 100% sure .. but ofcourse i already knew it works. so if it doesn't work for you, then you did something wrong!

not working after follow your step by step and when I open files that have been renamed and modified, the cheat engine doesn't want to open the modified files, but the original cheat engine works?? what's the problem then??

bro, when i open it with a specific game, the game minimizes down the cheat engine, what should i do to tab between them without minimizing the cheat engine!?

FH5 crashes when starting the renamed engine or if it is already open fh5 won't start..

When I try to open the application I get an error that says "the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect, please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail." I'm not sure what I have done wrong. Did I mess up in the XVI32?

Just make sure that in xvi32, in the replace menu at the bottom right: scope from "Begin" is checked and re replace all the names

Doesn't work unfortunately. The method to rename everything works, and CE starts. But game I'm using this with shuts down as soon as it's launched when renamed CE is running.

I do not know if there is an issue with Cheat Engine or what. But before trying this trick, I tried Cheat Engine without any modification at all on the following game: The Mobius Machine Beta v0.3.12. I was able to generate unlimited heath and worked just fine. But then I downloaded v0.3.15 and tried again. Surprisingly it didn't work. Ever since that day I haven't been able to make it work. I thought there was an anti cheat on that game, but I don't think so. But I don't know what could be the problem. Then I found this video, tried this out, but same thing, it didn't work either. But thanks for sharing. If anyone come across any solution, I will appreciate any hint.

cheat engine really issnt that much of a spyware or adware. i have it on my real pc and nothing is happening to it

Can I do pointer scans with this?. or is there an alternative?. I was able to make a UCE but my pointerscans come up blank when they normally work fine with normal CE
