Thank you so much! This actually helped a lot. My math teacher never explains things, she just does one problem on the board without explaining the steps and then expects us to understand it and do it by ourselves. Again thanks a lot :)

Your calculation is correct. However, in order to solve the problem correctly, you have to raise the numbers and the units to the corresponding power. For instance, when converting from cubic inches to cubic centimeters, you have to raise the 1 cm to the third power, and it becomes 1 cm^3. You also have to raise the 0.393701 in to the third power, and it becomes 0.60102 ...

how do i know what values should i put in the convertion factors. I always get confused with the two options. It's either you place 1 on the given unit or at desired unit. Please help.

Hi,
When multiply 84.2 by 0.393701, and then divide it all by 12 i get 2.762. am i doing something wrong?
