Tools: small flathead screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver.

This GE made Dishwasher Upper Spray Arm Screw replaces the following older part numbers on General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, Sears and Kenmore Dishwashers: 1088430.

Mine broke off in the top. Does that piece pop and and can be replaced?

Mine was seemingly over tightened and will not tighten up. Threads in plastic still have good hold on screw. Machine will run 20 cycles before the screw backs out all the way and the upper spray arm falls into the top rack.

What are the threads on this screw?
Does GE make any other similar screws that are slightly larger in diameter?

This would allow me to cut new threads in the plastic for a matching screw and then not over tighten it.
