Dark Souls III (3) - NPC Character Recruitment - Orbeck of Vinheim

This video shows where to recruit the NPC Orbeck of Vinheim.

A couple of important notes. He will NOT teleport to Firelink Shrine unless you have at least 10 Intelligence. I guess you're not worth taking seriously without that much at least.

Second, your promise with him does matter. If you don't bring him at least 1 scroll very early on (like as soon as you can get one down in Farron Keep area) he will disappear later in the game. Even if you wait and recruit him later in the game and immediately give him scrolls, if it's after the first Lord of Cinder, he will still leave.
