HOW TO LAY A FLAGSTONE PATIO: Using Gator Base Instead of Gravel

Single mom, Rebekah Higgs shows how easy it is to use flagstone to create the perfect out door space. Her daughter who is 2.5 years old at the time (Lennon) gets in on the fun. We saved hours of heavy lifting by using Gator Base instead of Gravel as a base for our Flag stones.

Try a long blade on a sawzall for cutting roots works like a dream. Won’t do much for boulders though.

Hows it holding up? I am working on a patio way up on a hill, id have to carry gravel 2 buckets at a time up a steep hill, so this looks alot easier.

Thanks for the tip on the Flex Lock, I wanted something to lock the stones in place so  chair legs don't cause them to move.I had not heard of Flex Lock.
