The website, aimed at nurturing grasping power students, has classroom lectures on almost all the topics. It is an outcome of 23-year long toil of Physics expert who has made it a mission to simplify the complexities of Physics.

Ashish Arora, the brain behind this interactive unique website, has all his lectures available on web for free of cost. He has created a youtube channel in the name of Physics Galaxy. Today more than 6000 video lectures are being watched per day on this website which is highest among any other e-learning website in India. Till now more than 3.6 Million videos are watched on it. On each video subtitles are also available in 67 languages using google translator including English, Hindi, Chinese, French, Marathi, Bangla, Urdu and other regional and international languages.

Besides uploading transcripts of all his videos, he has created a software based synchronized European voice accent of all videos to benefit students in USA, Europe and other countries.

A shortcut method: just extend the line of action of force F such that it passes through point of contact with ground and then calculate theta by trigonometry

In equation (3), torque due to applied force must be equal to F*cos(theta)*r, how did it become F*r ?

why we take limiting friction ? it can be less depending on force ?

does the COM at rest itself implies constant angular speed ?

Here is the value of theta less than critical angle? As in that case the sense of rotation of spool will be clockwise ... what assumptions should be taken regarding the value of theta? ... as in most spool related problems such assumptions are neither hinted nor specified?

As Ishan pointed out the torque due to the whole of force is Fr only bcz the components Fsin@ not necessarily passes through the centre so torque is Fr

Sir there is no mention of frictional force in the question. So how are we considering it ?

Sir, if a body is in equilibrium then about every point net torque must be zero, if we take torque about the bottom the result doesn’t come

Sir is it conceptually wrong if we take friction as f and not as μN(f is less than μN)..
