The website, aimed at nurturing grasping power students, has classroom lectures on almost all the topics. It is an outcome of 23-year long toil of Physics expert who has made it a mission to simplify the complexities of Physics.

Ashish Arora, the brain behind this interactive unique website, has all his lectures available on web for free of cost. He has created a youtube channel in the name of Physics Galaxy. Today more than 6000 video lectures are being watched per day on this website which is highest among any other e-learning website in India. Till now more than 3.6 Million videos are watched on it. On each video subtitles are also available in 67 languages using google translator including English, Hindi, Chinese, French, Marathi, Bangla, Urdu and other regional and international languages.

Besides uploading transcripts of all his videos, he has created a software based synchronized European voice accent of all videos to benefit students in USA, Europe and other countries.

so sir, in this type of questions in which small disc or anything like that mentioned do we need to think abt. rotational kinetic energy ??

yadavshashankkumar
Автор

No... as disc moves further due to velocity, spring gets elongated as due to inertia of the disc it has a tendency to move in a straight line as initially force by spring is zero...

Grt, disc purely roll kr rha hota to aur maza aata

Sir why we have not considered the angular momentum of disk due to its rotation it may also roll in table

Sir can we do if net torque is 0 then at maximum elongation ( mv^2/r = kx )

Why does the spring start elongating initially? I mean there's no velocity component along spring length..so particle can simply execute circular motion!

sir instead can we use kx=mv2/r at the point of maximum elongation

I HAVE SEEN ALL THE VIDEOS OF RBD
SIR I WANT ASK THAT .ALL THE TYPE OF QUESTION THAT CAN BE ASKED IN JEE ADVANCED ARE TAKEN IN THIS BOOK

Sit why aren't we conserving rotational k.e as when the spring will elongate the w will change and hence the rotational k.e.
I mean (rot ke) + (trans ke) = (rot ke) + (trans ke) + potential E....the rot KE is changes after elongation and hence it does not get cancelled so there should be an additional term in the energy equation

sir, after conserving angular momentum, cant we say mv1^2/(lò+x)=kx

Sir why at maxm elongation centrifugal forces not equal to spring force

Ravi-jwrf

Sir why will the maximum elongation be at the instant when v1 is perpendicular to the spring length ?

Sir how can we decide here that angular momentum about O is conserved?
How to know τ external is zero in this case?

Sir does the radius of curvature of motion show SHM?

Sir, Can we say that at max elongation, v=0

I am shocked
Why you made your videos private

sir can we do it by using angular momentum conservation and equating (mv1^2)/x+l = kx

Sir in Energy conservation why didn't you take the discs' Rotational Kinetic Energy?

At the initial stage why it elongates..and who is causing it to elongate..?
