CD4+ T Cells

Now that we have some basic information regarding T cell development as well as their activation through antigen processing and presentation, let's take a look at the specific types of T cells, and what they do once activated. First we will examine CD4+ T cells. These play a central role in providing immune protection against pathogens. They can differentiate into many subtypes, so what are those, and what do they do? Let's find out!
