Adam Driver is the best thing that ever happened for the Sequel Trilogy and I hope that Disney makes a TV series about Ben Solo's rise to Kylo Ren in the future with Adam Driver playing him and hopefully Disney will allow him to put some of his ideas into Kylo Ren's story. As for scenes where Ben Solo is younger, I would have Timothee Chalamet play him.

Ben Solo is a tragic character. He was preyed upon from the get go. We have other media, besides the movies that show how horrific Ben's fall to the darkside was and how as Kylo Ren he attempted to embrace it. From other media, we also know about the atrocities he committed as Kylo Ren. We should have seen this in the movies but oh well. Driver's performance is well done. You can tell he is in deep sympathy for his character. I think Disney should find a way to revive Ben Solo because as the Last Skywalker, the story of a broken man trying to make amends would be fascinating to watch. The main problem will be meeting Driver's asking price to do it. But, it would be cool to see.

Kylo Ren is by far the best part of the new trilogy and probably my favorite character in all of Star Wars. They could have and should have done more with him. They really dropped the ball with wasting time in their movies on side characters and not giving us more of Ren. Thank goodness for the comics. They are really good

You are right, it shines through Adams performance that Kylo’s childhood wasn’t good and that the character felt betrayed by his parents and uncle. He was an “orphan” like Rey abandoned by their parents. They are portrayed as the same “two who are one” but they have chosen different paths to overcome their past.

It is needed for Disney to properly explain as to why he fell to the dark side and became evil. Otherwise Kylo just sounds like he fell to the dark side for no real reason!
