I don't know if others experience with this recipe is the same, but it has changed everything about my hair since I started using it about three months ago. I have been natural for almost 5 years and I have experienced little hair growth. Not to mention my hair came out after dying it and became unhealthy. I started using this diy shampoo along with doing a protective style. well, my hair is finally growing! I mean it's growing fast and feels and look so healthy. I also started spritzing my hair with aloe Vera juice and water after conditioning. I have 4c hair and it's normally dry all the time, but the porosity of my hair has changed and I'm literally in love with my hair. it maintains moisture like never before. Thank you so much for this diy, it saved my hair life... muah!😘

I did a test to see which would better for me, either this recipe or my regular over-the-counter shampoo. This recipe won the battle by a landslide. I have now been using the recipe for a little over a month now and it not only gets my scalp clean but, it has made a huge difference with my dry itchy scalp because I suffer from eczema. Thank you for this recipe, it has been a lifesaver for me.

been using this recipe for 3 years now and i still love it!
Honestly, i haven't bought normal shampoo since this video, and what's better is that i use the black soap for my body too, so this could also be like a head-to-toe cleanse

I'm definitely gonna try this and Whitney you know we blk folks love to see suds... We love to lather it up as much as possible.. The more bubbles we see the cleaner we think things are...That's why most of our 32 load tide detergents be gone after only 4 or 5 washes... Or is that just me😂😂😂😂😂

cheese grater for breaking down the black soap cuts down the time for liquifying the soap

I remember being embarrassed by using black soap when I was younger because it had a strong scent, Now when my mom goes to Nigeria I add it to the the list of things I want

I just found this recipe a month ago and finally purchased all the ingredients for it. I really thought it would be too drying on my hair, especially because African black soap is too strong for my skin regularly, but instead it was very moisturizing and I wanna say clarifying at the same time. My hair really liked it - dried supremely soft after a regular conditioner (which never happens as I’m a super dry 4b/4c) and I can’t wait to use it next wash day.

Why are people going crazy over her hair being short/ It's just hair it will grow back relax. It's not even your hair and your freaking out about it. Good hair is not long hair but healthy hair.

I didn't expect it to look like how traditional shampoo looks in your hair. Now I want to use this over the clay method 😃

I started using African black soap about 2 yrs ago. I saw what it was doing for the serrobic dermatitis on my skin which was also on my scalp. I decided to lather it up in the shower and rub it through out my scalp and after two uses it cured the dermatitis on my scalp, I havent had the issue since.

Whit you are the Beyoncé of natural hair!!! That shampoo is AWESOME!!! My whole regimen tonight was from your recipes I've used over the years - shampoo, deep conditioner with banana and avocado, flax seed gel, and Shea butter cream😊
