1999 is an expansion released in Update 38.0 (2024-12-13). It comes with a new Quest, "The Hex", in which a group of Protoframes known as the Hex try to locate Dr. Entrati in the city-state of Höllvania in the year of 1999. The expansion was teased during the Whispers in the Walls Quest and TennoCon 2023.

It's so good to hear your voice again! I love Lavos for so many reasons. No energy, picking up energy orbs gives status immunity, has some of the highest armor and health values in the game, heals with first ability, can match damage element to enemies, movement ability with very low cooldown, insane scaling on fourth ability with how many elements you can apply. Lavos is just comfortable for any level of content with base kit and augment to make weapons even more useful. Especially with mecha build and stacking some damaging statuses, then letting your companion blow everything up with contagious bond since the spread statuses count as companion kills

Loki w/ mind control and damage decoy and mind freak is literally insane. My fave underrated build. Like I do nt think people actually understand that this lets your decoy roam and mind control and decoy pull agro 100% and proc literally thousands of damage of status effects

Gyre is highly underrated. With enough strength and range you can murder and stun lock entire rooms with the electric discharge. Plus who doesnt love 100%+ free crit rate and energy regen?

sevagoth used to be a really niche warframe... I use him a lot... he is a absolute beast... with prime is easy to access him but still is a pretty rare warframe to see... but damn he nukes... and prime don't need a HEAVY amount of formas

Idk if its meta but i like hydroid and mag, i find them fun to use, since the rework of hydroid, he is much more versatile, with its 3rd augment he heals himself as well as have corrosive dmg, then with 1 augment that rains viral you already got 2 status and 2nd ability that cleanse and works as your movement, tho hydroids 2 and 4 are best change with other skill but still fun to use...mag is my main so i might be biased, mag is hard to kill except for those toxin enemy, tho i can counter it using some arcanes, her playstyle might be boring but its still fun, tho there are times when bubble doesnt group or absorbed enemy, its still good as it acts as buffer for dmg, her 4 is just so good that mag cant be easily die, also great support since 4 can also restore ally shields, but i hope she would get a passive augment as her passive doesnt do her well, maybe like items will slowly gather near mag and if bullet jump it all items nearby will spreads and deals mag or blast status dmg
