As someone who just hit MR8, if you are new and about to hit MR8 you should ABSOLUTELY get this it feels like a cheat code compared to every other early game weapon I’ve used

Before watching the video, I'll take a wild guess and say it's because Lavos Prime is incoming and therefore, so is Cedo Prime

Cedo is one of the coolest guns for sure. I would highly recommend it using it with Citrine if you not using Lavos right now. Remember, citrine's 3 which is the big crystal, can proc many status effects by shooting beams while your alt fire Cedo is bouncing around and her 4th ability for red crits. This will be a nice investment while waiting on the Cedo Prime if it comes. I have been using the Kuva Kohm almost the same way, but the Cedo's alt fire makes her crystal go crazy and it's wicked good and fun to watch. Highly recommend showing it off some time.

If we are getting a Cedo prime then NOW is the time to go farm the regular Cedo.
Why?
Because you don't want to waste a weapon slot with the regular one, even just to level and trash it, if you already have the prime.
Get the normal one now. See if we get the prime. Then choose whether to INVEST in the normal one after.
If we get the prime? Level and trash the regular.
If we DON'T get the prime? Then invest in the regular if you like it.

There’s so many cool weapons in warframe that I love using but in steelpath you end up using pretty much just incarnon weapons because the others feel lackluster, or you either have to spent so much in order to make the weapons decent.

TL;DR the Cedo is about to get primed with the release of Lavos. and that was heavily teased in the last dev short as the next prime warframe.

Seeing those procs and meeting that many players using nurish, I'm happy that I decided to get Grendel and Grendel Prime. Though, to be honest, Mesa Prime and my OG go-to rifle, the Soma (now Soma Prime WITH FULL RANK INCARNON and a God riven mod) showed me today that often the simplest things makes the game more fun. I'll probably watch guides on how to use and build Grendel, then copy-paste it to the prime version (I got the parts today and the base Warframe is already under crafting)
