I believe it is possible that a family member of mine who accepted Jesus as a young boy, [didn’t want to lose out with God], but committed suicide 2 years ago is in heaven. Because of the many prayers going up for him over the years I believe God honored those prayers. Amen

I've always felt sorry for Judas because I thought he regretted betraying Jesus. Otherwise, why would he have hung himself? He had the silver, but it didn't mean anything to him anymore. I have trouble distinguishing his sorrow and regret from true repentance. Maybe he was truly sorry but felt so bad that he couldn't bring himself to face Jesus after he betrayed him.

As we can't weight what's in hearts, only God knows, it's a hard question to know who repent and who don't. Confessing and believing Jesus is alive and is God Himself is a good start (Well, what is responded to this is "demons believe too", yes, but why do they fight so brutally for that the entire world do not belive ?)
