You can learn where to find the basic Menu (ACAD icon), how to add and remove buttons from the quick access toolbar, how to use the Autodesk Help (searching field), where to find the several tools (Ribbon/ Command line), and also where to find the auxiliary tools you will need while drawing (Status bar). In addition, you will understand the difference between model space and layouts.

I work for the US Gov and am a proj Manager. I have not used AutoCad for many years. I just started getting involved in it again so i can do some consulting when i retire. I was working on a test plan at my home but for some reason a layer I created for Retaining walls is not working. I can see the end points of the Layer but the line work does not appear. All other layers seem to be just fine. What could cause a the line work in a layer to disappear but yet the end points of the layer are still there and I can even snap to them.
