More than a collapse in the stock or real estate markets, inflation has a direct impact on people's standard of living. It’s no surprise that current market sentiment is so negative. To navigate this economy, expert guidance is more crucial than ever. ETFs, stock markets, and the housing sector are all volatile. My $350k portfolio has taken a serious hit.

If the market has taught me anything, it is that it usually recovers, but I can't seem to focus on the long run when key things like my retirement and reserve are wrecking havoc on inflation. I need a strong data trajectory and solution as soon as possible.

Have you thought about the tax implications of SCHD?! Don’t know about Australia but for non-US citizens they make investing in SCHD not a good option vs other growth ETFs like VOO (though there are tax issues and estate tax concerns). US-domiciled ETFs entail significant tax exposure that needs to be carefully considered especially for long term investing!

I am pretty sure that it’s rare that an investment will average 8% a year going forward considering how overvalued every asset already is

Is it better to invest monthly as the brokerage fee will be $6.50 regardless or is it still better to invest weekly?

What about the inflation? so isn't it more like 700, 000 for 1.4m compounded? Then what if you sell at preservation age, then you pay capital?

I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Strayer..

I’ve been investing 20 years (I’m 42).
My number one advice to anyone is don’t trade individual stocks. You don’t make money doing that. Took me 15 years to learn that!
DCA into between 1 and 3 ETFs and if you can afford it, purchase property.

I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

We all will different opinions and we are are all on a different financial goal. No one is right and no one is wrong. We are 25% svol 25% spyi 25% Nvdy and 25% IDVo and roll all divs back into IDVO. We are up 37% since Jan 2021

The first ETF looks terrible. Why on earth would you put 36% in Australia ? Surely the point of a global portfolio is to allocate in accordance with the global stock market weightings ? And why on earth have 7% in a useless global bond fund that will return nothing and crash when stocks crash ? You need a short term money market fund or cash. And at 7% there is very little stability or income. The weighting is far too small.
