I’ve made more progress by binging on your videos for the last month than I have in the last 20yrs of off and on playing.

Thank you so much!

You have a way of explaining things on the guitar that is so clear and to the point.  Seriously, you are up there with Govan and Gilbert in terms of teaching ability.  Thanks for making these videos.

I memorized the 5 basic boxes decades ago and continue to use them as practice warm ups starting in different keys etc. I could never find a way to utilize #3 in my ad lib solos always jumping from 1- 2 then up to# 5. Thanks to you, I think that with some additional practice I can expand my solo vocabulary. I have played in cover bar bands for years and continue to do so. My thanks for your videos.

Officially starting here as home base. Self-taught, been noodling around the same stale lack of knowledge since I was 16...always afraid of any theory...learned just enough over the years to be frustrated as dream of beautiful melodies and progressions but didn't know the language to express them. Sounds like a few people have echoed the same feelings, but have already had more ah-ha moments watching a few of your videos during quarantine that I have over a couple of decades. Thank you Stitch....!

I just wanted to say your the man. I'm a huge fan of Phish and the dead and when I stumbled across your channel I couldn't have been more excited. The couple months I've been watching you my soloing has drastically improved using your neverlost system. Keep up the good work my phriend.

Thanks for the NEVER LOST system! Clears the fret board without confusion.

Awesome lesson as always. A nice way to remember min/maj root note positions is that if you descend the pentatonic shape, the maj root note is always the note after the min root note ie the next note in the pentatonic shape

It's one thing to know things and another to understand what you think you know. Your videos have led me to a clear understanding of the pentatonic scales. Thanks!

I learned mine by learning licks that I liked the sound of that happened to move around the different positions. It's pretty much how I learned everything I know.

I practiced these ad naseum, until I had it down.  The book I originally learned the patterns from didn't call them "Form 1" and so on, it was "C shape" (which is form 4) .  Your never-lost really helped.   Now if I could just understand "phrasing."  You and Sean are great teachers, I'm looking forward to your Blues classes.

Suggestions for the PDF;
1.) show all the minor and major roots/homes (not just the first which occur)
2.) add an image which shows the forms "stacked" together (preferably with the individual forms indicated)
3.) add an image of the "circle of fifths" to clarify the relationship of the different keys/names of the minor and it's related major

I'm not complaining, just trying to be helpful. Thanks for all you do! ;)

Before watching this video, I thought that music is like an art, where you were born with it or you were not. But my understanding start to change. I start to believe that actually there is some logic and systematic in it. Thus with good method we can learn if we dedicate our time, attention and most of all our passion.
Thanks from Indonesia.

I've been playing for ions. I use parts of all these pentatonic forms, but there's parts of them that I sorta don't venture into. The fan blade, hub analogy is perfect. This instantly made sense to me. Now I'm going back to each of these forms that I'm not totally familiar with and familiarizing myself with them. Thanks man, it's refreshing to see guitar teacher that's teaching others to create which is absolutely the best part of playing guitar.
