Building an Arcade Machine from Scratch

A few years ago, I build an arcade cabinet from scratch, including the user interface software. This is mostly just a compilation of the different building stages and hopefully it might inspire inspire one of you to try building one!

The menu software was written in C++ with SFML. It organizes all my games across all emulators in a single unified package and seamlessly allows me to switch between everything using only the joystick panel.

That computer you're using looks massive good enough to run hogh end pc games, couldn't you achieve about the same with a raspberry Pi 3? depending on what sort of games you're wanting to play on it?

Most old arcade games can be emulated on a raspberry pi. You saved 35 bucks upfront, but lost way more in power costs long term.
