The 2021 Acura TLX is an all-new compact-to-mid-sized sedan that has been totally redesigned. This new Acura TLX is 4-inches longer than old TLX 2.5-inches wider, providing a long, low and wide stance, plus a wider track that is really noticeable through the wide rear fenders. Replacing the old TLX 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is the same Turbocharged 2.0L four cylinder engine used in the RDX and Honda Accord. This is matted to a 10-speed automatic transmission and produces 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Coming soon will be the Type-S model with a turbocharged 3.0L V-6 355 Horsepower 354 lb-ft of torque. All TLX models sold in Canada will come with standard SH-AWD, or Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive. The TLX sedan has room for 5-passengers and is very nicely equipped even on the base model. Standard features on the TLX include a 10.25 inch infotainment screen, collision Mitigation braking system, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, Apple Carplay & Android Auto, dual rectangle exhaust tips come on all trim levels, Jewel Eye LED headlights, power moonroof, remote engine start, 12 way power adjustable driver’s and front passenger seat and Integrated Dynamic System. Optional features on the all-new Acura TLX include Trunk spoiler – A-spec only, Acura navigation system with voice recognition – tech trim and above, front and rear parking sensors – tech trim and above, colour head up display – Platinum only, surround view camera – Platinum only, wireless smart phone charging – Tech trim and above. Wheel sizes range from 18 inch wheels, all other trims 19 inch, 20-inches on the Type-S.

Great video! I like some of the changes you have made with the question period (for example) I like the dialogue between the two of you as well. I think your channel is very underrated and deserves way more attention! Please keep up the great work and evolving the content.

I purchased a ‘used’ 2021 TLX with 18k miles, so basically new. The greatest part was that the dealership thought they had a base model and advertised it as such along with the price. Once the deal was made and papers were getting signed, they realized they were selling me the next level up Tech Package! In the USA, you are required to sell at the advertised price, so I actually got a Tech Pkg, black TLX for $4000 off! When does that EVER happen?! I was thrilled, the salesman got credit for the unit, but the manager wasn’t too happy 😂. Got it in black and until I bought this, I was a dedicated Accord guy. After I bought the TLX, I fell in love and then saw the new Accord models and was even happier with my purchase. Not a fan of the new Accords. ANYWAY, excellent video and agreed on all points. Subbed! 😎👍🏼

I like this grille better than Genesis, though I realize that is subjective.

I really like this review. You guys tell a story as u review it. And u brought up points about genesis and things of that nature. Those points of view are not spoken of in other car reviews. Thank u for the entertainment

You guys are my favorite auto review couple. Funny, not trying too hard and substantive :)

Nice to see them getting back to their TSX roots. The rear design even seems to have a hint of the new Supra in it.

Just to add: Infiniti Q50 base model offers 300hp in this segment as well as double wishbone front suspensions. The Red Sport models also offers up to 400hp with 350lb.ft torque. Still a good looking car imo despite its age!

I don't agree that "sedans are dying." Only certain car companies have trouble selling them (Ford, GM, etc.) Sedans that are worth buying sell well enough.

Hopefully Acura will make push the infotainment closer, to make it a touch screen option. Hey, look what Lexus did! Great review

Andrea....I’m so impressed that u actually mentioned the large turning circle of the TLX. Most reviewers will not mention this issue with most new Honda products....👍👍👍. I think the TC of the new TLX is about 40ft....deal breaker for me in a sports sedan.
