A main reason for no wireless yet cause streaming audio is nowhere as good as using the USB ports. Audio quality is exceptional when connected via usb

The Interior is gorgeous, especially at night with the ambient lighting and I've heard the comfort is outstanding. The Exterior looks fantastic, especially in person. Additionally you have AWD all-weather capability, plus the awesome handling it provides. For me personally, my ONLY gripe would be that it could use more power and refinement with the engine (NA V6) and a little better fuel economy. But it still appears to be an overall awesome package for a great looking, comfortable, fun, luxurious and reliable daily driver.

Nice review. I didn't think your dislikes were nitpicking, I thought they were substantial points. Thank you.

I love your nitpicking! That’s why I subbed!

I agree with you on the rear and trunk space, but that's not only the TLX. Many sedans now seem to have less space in these two areas, almost like manufacturers are saying "You want more space? Get an SUV"

Biggest issue I have with the car is the fake engine noise through the stereo, an awful trend that needs to go away

I have a 22 tlx aspec. Love the car and seems really quiet on the highway to me. The only complaint is the passenger door rattles with the sound system with bassy music and the door handle is loose. Going to get the dealer to look at it with my first oil change.

THANK YOU for addressing the rear seat space!!!
Ultimately the reason why I did not buy this car.
Massive car, yet the Honda Civic has more rear leg space AND a bigger trunk.
The salesman was 5'9", I sat behind him, I'm 6'3", and my knees were smashed against the hard back seat. This is a sedan first and foremost and they absolutely ruined that.

I much prefer my 18 TLX V6 TECHNOLOGY 290HP Non turbocharged engine. Still, Sport Mode does not give you adaptive shocks. It just changes shift points, pedal and steering angle response. They should have retuned the V6 intake/exhast/cam to squeeze out 325 HP, and added adjustable shocks to call it the Type S. I'm not convinced of the longevity of the new Turbos in the Honda/Acura lineup.

I just bought a used 2021. I like it but it’s a tight fit especially coming transitioning from a 2013 TL. Wish the car was bigger.

You'd be better off buying the new 2021 Mazda 6 turbo or Mazda 3 hatchback turbo. Cant go wrong with Mazda esp the interiors and they're cheaper.

The wireless charging with a iPhone 12 does not work! Acura has no plans to fix it! My wife has a Hyundai it works perfect!

Just with the gauge cluster was like the lower trims. The ones in the Aspec/Type S are so outdated and lowkey ugly

Current owner of the same exact car with the color combo. I agree with the all of the nitpicks but they are small enough (except the absence of a V6 engine) to not ruin the everyday living experience with this car. Regarding the engine, they are following the Germans footprints with base 2.0T and Type S as the V6T option. I’m fine with it because once that arrives, it expands the options for a customer. I bought this solely based on inside + outside looks because it looks nothing like any other car. I’ve had people taking photos of this car while I’m at stoplights. Overall well executed vehicle by Acura.

I bought a 2021 A-Spec last week. Agree that the lack of wireless Carplay is an odd choice given the overall trend of cars. I figure I'll buy a wireless adaptor if it bugs me in the long run. I don't agree with the road noise comments. It's not a quiet car, but it's not a noisy car either. I did laugh at the dealer when they tried to brag about how quiet it was though.

The lack of heated steering and remote start in the A-Spec are my two biggest complaints about the car. My 13 year old Silverado has remote start, but in the A-Spec, you have to pay $199 per year and hope the car is receiving a signal in order to use the app for remote start. Extremely lame. The heated steering wheel is something I'll miss from my 5 series, but the material in the Acura steering wheel is such that it may not be an issue. We'll see.

My final gripe is the lack of power. I bought the car knowing what I was getting, but coming from a BMW 535i to a TLX is a big drop in straight line performance. For a car that stickers close to $50k, it doesn't put the power to the ground as effectively as the Accord that is $10k cheaper.

As far as likes, the steering turn in is incredibly well tuned and far superior to my BMW. As the video indicates, it drives like a smaller car than it is. I like the safety improvements and the Acura's Lanekeeping assist is pretty damned the highway. I tried it in town on a test drive and it sucks on a city street. Adaptive cruise control is superior to the one in my wife's Mazda CX-9.

So far, I'm liking the car more and more as every day passes. It's fast enough for "normal" driving and the driving experience overall is very good. For those that are interested, I got an incredible price on the car by purchasing it on the last day of April. Acura practically gave the car to me.
