In this lesson, you will learn how to solve logarithmic equations, which are just equations that contain logarithms. There are several methods to solve these types of equations. One method is to convert the logarithm to an exponential representation. Another technique is to change the base of the logarithm to make the equation easier to solve. We will use these methods to solve logarithmic equations and practice skills.

They're aren't many teachers that demonstrate more than one method and I'm glad you're one of them.

This is a great Prof who knows math, physics, chemistry and biology!
I have never seen a Prof like this before who made me possible to understand them deeply!
If I had known him, I wouldn't have gone to school and fuck about my time aimlessly!
Today, I am learning the scientific subjects being at home and drinking tea, praise be Allah who had shown me this channel!
Thanks to Allah.

Just watched your Intro to Physics video that was posted 5 years ago! I am so happy you're still teaching!! All to you

When I solve logarithmic equations, I find the domain of each equation first. In the first problem I notice that the domain is x > 6. Since x = -3 violated the domain, it was automatically rejected. Thus only x = 9 works after doing the check. Thanks much for providing the VISUAL of the logarithmic function to show that the logarithm of zero or any negative values are UNDEFINED.

Dear Sir, thank you for a great way to explain all your lessons. I am older now and for years I wanted to understand Logarithms. You make it so clear and even the unit circle. I never, never understood it. I was great at algebra 1 and 2, but the other. Again There aren't any words enough to say What a great Teacher. Keep up the great Lessons.:)

Some information is stored along the negative root indicating a third phase contributing to unimaginable along inverse operation.

If we have product of logs equations, I think we need use its inverse companion i.e exponential.

One of the core purpose of our learning is to realize our strengths(abilities) and weaknesses (barriers to learn)and act upon it.
