Not everybody likes nor uses Discord, so in-game would make more sense.

I think we all know the two major Problems which reduced the player numbers by 50%.

1. The whole PSN disaster which STILL has over 180 countries locked even though people have paid for the game!
2. Way too many Nerfs for absolutly no reason.

I myself found myself not wanting to play the game as much as I used to since all of this just left a very bitter aftertaste. Hopefully this game and the Devs can make good on their promise and not let this spectacular game die because of some Publishers Greed and Kindergarten manouvers.

I saw the math on the new mech. I'm not impressed. There's a great video covering the damage it does and compares it to the defenses of a Bile Titan...wouldn't purchase that mech if it came with a cape.

i use discord but im tired of all these companies using it for support and other crap. its just lazy and its sucks

I hate Reddit and haven't had an account there in years. I only use Discord for talking to my guild in an MMO when I'm doing a raid. I don't bother to read crap there and honestly, I only fire up Discord maybe once or twice a week. Put the text in your game and not "somewhere else".

If I play a game with in depth mechanics crucial to its gameplay, I expect to be told about those mechanics by the game. Not everyone has discord or Reddit, and not everyone is on YT regarding this game. For example, I can’t stay up to date on what the community managers say because I got banned within 3 days of joining the discord, for no apparent reason. I also don’t have Reddit or twitter, so YouTube is my only source of info on all things Helldivers. It’s also the least reliable given how many people spread misinformation here

I literally stopped playing games cause of the need for discord, wich is a shity platform, runing stuff that does not need to work, a safety risk, among other stuff, i hate it, its porely built and "patched" and unjustifiably heavy...
