We all need quality football rather than too many games

The same people who are saying the Euros are becoming boring are the ones pushing for more games 😂 You could see the tired legs on the players

Brilliant comment by Ancelotti. The very mention of " Lower salaries " will put fear into these players. He's a genius

FIFA and UEFA are going to say to everyone, rotate your Squad and players if they are having problems of playing too much games 😅

Stevie is 💯 right - they already failed letting the CL, WC & Euros expand - the teams at the top in both club & international football are becoming more not less dominant, there's no reason to include more bad teams that haven't earned their spot

Because of the new format of the UCL games, that makes them tired
If you agree 👍

We’re quick to talk about rotation, but I think the stupid things here are the registration rules. Lots of competition allow you to register only about 25 players (some exempt young players within a certain range).
Based off on injuries and the like 25 is probably not enough for rotation among multiple competitions, it should be increased

I overall agree but!!!! Manages can stop playing the top players every game, and rotate more. Domestic cups could feature more young players or more academy talent. The NBA calls it (load management) to the point there’s rules now where players have to play a minimum amount of games to be eligible for awards. Or have your medical staff say “they have sustained an injury in training and are unfit to play that match”. Try harder guys

KDB and courtois mentioned in the same sentence is crazy

It is in everybody’s interest for all players regardless of level to not play more than 60 games a year. It gives other players opportunities, fans benefit in seeing who else is coming through, teams have more minutes to pass around, players are rested, games are livelier, fewer injuries, etc. The leagues and FIFA can have as many games as they want. Player contracts can be based on a 60 game out put and the bonuses structured around the teams progress. It seems this is where we are heading. This is why football in England needs a regulator. To balance out the needs wants of the game. We also need a center weight to FIFA.

The Premier League needs to take a 2 week break, at a minimum, over the Christmas period. Let the players relax, have some time off with their families, and come back recharged for the second half of the season. Likewise, scrap the Carabao Cup. It’s redundant and not necessary. The "League Cup" is the Premier League, not another variant of the FA Cup.

Amount of games is not really the problem. It is a problem yes but let’s be honest why does Rodri or any other player have to play every game of the season? The squad should have some kind of depth because it’s obvious the big clubs earn more and they normally have a deep bench . The only reason I am for less games its because it is too much to care for. But do these players forget how they get paid so much?

Same people were saying that players are whining about too many matches last year when Pep spoke out. This is a real problem, and the unions should put in place some reasonable limits on games. Let clubs go deeper into their benches and academies. Club World Cup should be a flat NO

just put a 50 games / season max limit matches, then its up to the coach to select when and where.

Stevie makes a very good point about the players unions. What have they said about fixtire congestion? Anything? Like, anything at all? Even just talking about the new CL format?

40+ player squads, 60+ games a year, are the future for AAA teams.
