Fix 4.26 : Scale Mesh Size modules
1. Open up the Niagara system
2. Go to 'Particle Spawn'
3. Under Initialize Particle find the parameter 'Mesh Scale Mode'
4. Set 'Mesh Scale Mode' to 'Uniform'
(thanks hopelandgame)

Fix 4.26 : Curl noise force parameters changed
The curl noise force parameters changed in UE 4.26, the frequency value needs to be way higher now. what used to be 0.001 is now something like 3.0 or something. Adjust till it looks good.

I created this particle system while i was learning about Niagara by just fiddling with some forces really. The result was mind-blowing and because of a lot of positive feedback i've created a tutorial where i explain how to make such a thing.

For those wondering why ur particles disappear after adding the scale mesh size in UE5, click on the hanging particulates node, search for mesh attributes and set it to uniform

If you continue to make under 10 minute Niagara tutorials, I think you have found a niche in the tutorial market. This was great!

Really appreciate how you took some time to go back to this video to add some fixes with the project. Thank you!

Using UE5 and following along, it took me a lot longer to get this going properly than I expected. My tip is to do all of the steps in the video (even if you're not seeing the same thing that's being shown at the time) because a few things are out of order, like discussing the Drag force. Also, there are several updates and helpful tips in the video description and the comment section that helped me get a result I'm happy with!

If you use UE5 and didn't get the result expected try (at 3:40) to use a noise frequency above 1.0

This is defiantly a niche. Straight to the point and not an hour of messing around. Very good hope you continue this series

Great tutorial! Much appreciated! I just started learning Niagara and I can't really find any tutorials that helps me understand how the functions work and where to find what I need.

Wonderful tutorial! And I don't even use UE! I just wanted to comment because around 6:08 you moved the light and I said out loud "woa" and half a second later, you made the exact same sound so I felt deeply connected to the feeling you had :)

I just watched a 30 minute video from nvidia thinking I would learn to make something. Instead they just went over UI and settings. Thanks for making something quick and useful!

In 5.0 after you set the mesh size to UNIFORM in the Mesh Attributes, you can then (In that same section/panel) add a FLOAT FROM CURVE that does the same job as the original Scale Mesh Size node in the tutorial (Use that same size setting - 0.13)

Niagara is a seriously impressive vfx tool. It's very intuitive and by golly it seems to be dang efficient!
