The resorts might not be burned down, but what about the resort workers' homes?

A friend of mine arrived in Rhodes a couple of days ago and is being held in a sports centre. It's his and his wife's first holiday abroad and they're in their 50's. He messaged me to say the locals have been lovely, bringing food and blankets for them and the others stuck there. What amazing people they are.

The Greek people, the Rhodians, have shown their sens of hospitality in helping in any manners possible.
I know them, and I love them.
It is the successive governments who are responsible for their lack of forward thinking and lack of equipments such as canadairs in such a big island. As well as for other islands.
However, it's man-made, and the local criminals who started those fires must be accountable to the authorities, the tourists, and the people of Rhodes.
Since the Albanian's mafia, mingling with governmental an local Greek mafiosi, has started to rule Rhodes island, it has become a nightmare!

Here in Somalia. It is 28-29 🌞all through the year.
In the Arabian Gulf it is 45-55 every day! 🥵
We have blue sky every day in Somalia. It's hot but we have dry heat without humidity and its windy. 🌬
It's nice! 😎

Sky news had a Karen on with her makeup done to perfection moaning about the Jet2 agents running away. I was there with another tour operator, but they abandoned us, the jet2 rep helped us get to safety and will be forever grateful to them.

‘Brits left in Limbo’… hardly. Obviously a wildfire is going to affect the flights, they’ve been given updates. Can’t imagine having my holiday extended on a lovely hot Greek island while the UK has heavy rain, should send them thoughts and prayers!
