As a French person, pot au feu is actually one of the best thing I ate. It’s filling, but not overly fatty, and it’s very nourishing. Not to mention it’s delicious. I have yet to encounter anyone that doesn’t like it.

The funniest thing about that ? French cuisine is known to be the one that perfected a way of preparing meals where you cook ingredients separately before mixing them altogether. Pot-au-feu is the exact opposite...
