Fun Fact here in Germany we also have a dish that's called Gulasch, it's inspired by the Hungarian Goulash. We often serve it with Knoedel and it has an unforgettable taste. But Hungarian Goulash is also very tastefull.

Also correction: In Hungary Gulyás(goulash) is a soup which is the nat. dish of my country. The stew you showed is called pörkölt which is a meat stew so don't confuse it pls.

Goulash was one of my most favorite meals as a kid, and even though my grandma is Korean not Hungarian, she would make it and it was sooo good

I first saw the name Goulash back in my childhood.
I used to have a subject called General Knowledge.
In that the national dish of Hungary was written Goulash.
Then I searched years later and found it is made of beef and stew.
I am from India so beef is not allowed.
But when I go to Hungary I will definitely eat this dish.
