Always heard about this game but never bothered giving it a chance. But saw it for $20 yesterday and decided, why not? It was the last copy too. I'm sure glad I got it! Can't wait to play!

It's not a big deal but sometimes I wish they'd add a bit more variation in the main story depending on your honour level perhaps or having some extra side activities, like the option to pan for gold or perhaps the ability to distil different types of moonshine with herbs or something. Also wouldn't mind some type of survival mode? where you have to keep Arthur fed and well rested regularly. (I know there are mods)

Red Dead 1 was one of my all time favorite games, so I obviously knew that I wanted 2 once I’d heard about it. However, I missed the release because I wasn’t gaming for about 5 years. Long story short, I just got back into gaming and I got a ps5. One of the first games I knew i wanted was Red Dead 2 (even though it’s a ps4 game). I’ve got about 50 hours in so far and I must say that it’s truly a masterpiece! The ps5 enhances it and it’s definitely one of the best games you can buy, no matter the console.

I saw my sister playing this game on a PS4 back in 2019 and I thought it looked boring because she was fishing and collecting flowers for like 30-45 minutes. During the pandemic, since I was staying at home most of my free time, I chose to invest in a gaming PC. Not a beast (the graphics card is a 2060 SUPER) but a mid-range budget PC who can play most games with max settings (but it will struggle a little bit in 4K). I was reading mentions of RDR2 everywhere but I didn't really reading about the game itself or anything. I was playing Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo 2 Resurrected and Assassin's Creed Valhalla lately. I finally purchased the game 2 months ago when my sister told me that it was in sale for the holiday season. I bought it because the price seemed reasonable... well, I fell in love with this game and now I can't play any other game. I'm simply blown away and, quite frankly, if I had known back then how good this game is, I would have puchased it whatever its price. PC gamers : if you have a mid-range gaming PC bought in 2020 or later, you can play it with high settings (but not always max) and DLSS activated on a 1080p monitor with no bug. The gaming experience is amazing. And if you are among the few lucky (or rich?) guys who owns a 30 series Nvidia graphics card (like a RTX 3070), you should run right now to buy it. It's the perfect game to play with if you want to be blown away with graphics. I can't even imagine how realistic this game can look on a 4K monitor with the settings set to max and the ray-tracing technology on...
PS: I have a curved monitor and I can say that the immersive experience in an open world game like this one is better on a curved monitor. And the bigger the better too. :D

I heard about this game recently and how good it is. I checked the ps store last week and it was $60. Then I decided to check again 2 days ago and it was on sale for $23. Couldn't pass it up and I'm glad I didnt

Playing it for the 2nd time, starting in mid 2022, you would have a hard time being able to tell it came out in 2018. It will feel timeliness for a very long time.

Just to be a little critical for those who have never played it and are wondering is it worth it? I would say this game is a timeless piece meaning if you buy it now and play it in 10 years from now it will still be worth it, however don't expect to be blown away as it really all depends on what type of gamer you are, story does become repetive and people have been known to skip missions and cutscenes, personally speaking I stopped playing it because I want to play it when I have the time to really appreciate it as it's more of a simulation/movie vs a video game.

I bought this game, with my gf, cause we were bored of the games we were playing, we weren’t into westerns, knew nothing off this, and we were knocked off our feet on how fucking good it was….everything you hear, see, there’s basically a reason behind it
