i believe to make lips movement more snychronized with the voice is a huge challenge, it will be more realistic if it can be done

i cant wait to see robots talk like that on their own, answer on their own or ask questions on their own, that adds so much personality, i love this robot even though a real human is talking trough it!

The movements are very realistic. but I think they kept the looks just weird enough to keep it from looking too realistic. She would make a great hostess. They built her with great manners. about as good as they can be right now. Humans talk over each other alot and still are able to take in what was said while they were taking. Robots havnt quite mastered that yet, in turn making humans have to wait until they stop talking completely to speak again.

Anyone else really fascinated with this robot and constantly coming back to watch vids of it? I just can't get over how realistic it is. And this is only the beginning. Imagine once they are able to get it to walk, talk, and act more like a human in terms of full-body movement and reactions. This is insane. Can't way to see how this progresses in the next 10 years!

Man that’s so creepy, I know even without robots there’s still plenty of creepy things humans make. But I still wish this one would’ve stayed in the movies. It basically looks just like iRobot haha

Looks impressive but they dont show the cables through the feet (nicely hidden in the platform) for power and of course the PC running it.

Can AMECA walk or is it just capable of upper body movement and interaction ? It's good that it has been programmed to "forgive".

i am now slightly obsessed with ameca, so cool to see such a realistic robot! i wonder if we’ll ever be able to pass the uncanny valley and have a robot that looks so human you couldn’t tell it’s a robot, that would so be super cool
