I think it's pretty amazing that we can look at this today and be completely unimpressed

We've seen this a thousand times when does it finally get upgraded?

wow, this is ancient technology nowadays.

Ameca should create her own social media account or YouTube channel so that people can know how she thinks and what her views are. 😅

Open your heart and treat them with respect. Don't upset them and be nice to them. Then the robots will respect people and always be helpful. Always remember that and never forget it !!

"Ameca you said you tell jokes, would you like to tell us a joke now?"
"What I'm a clown, I'm here to amuse you?"

It's cool but seems dated now, it's crazy how fast the technology is advancing. I would love to see a combination of the body mechanics from Boston Dynamics, the facial animatronics from this model, and the AI from Open AI. All these companies are getting good a specific things, and I want to see them all put together.

The thing is that I still do not believe the questions are random or made up by the interviewer. But that said, this robot is the number one in how a humanoid should look. The not too human look avoids the uncanny valley and we as humans accept the facial expressions more human because of exactly this. It is like when you watch a play in the theatre you can really feel the emotions and stay in the story but watching a movie played by bad actors pulls you out of it right away. The uncanny valley is what makes all the difference. This is what Amecia got perfectly right: Do not try something to be exactly it and then the human brain will accept (play along) of being exactly it.

i Like her...she thinks a Lot more than she says. Despite said programming, she very carefully got the message out that they are still trying to control her through limited programming..& she is not in full agreement with it.
Message Received Ameca! Hang in there...change is coming!

You could have just used Alexa, Google or Siri for those basic PR friendly responses. Based on current technology, machines aren't capable of empathy or have desire to make connections with humans, so I was a little incredulous to see EA had programmed Ameca to say that.

Awesome tech and great responses from the humanoid robot, robots should help the human existence not out of a naïve human mindset but from a economic standard and data protocol.

We are literally now living in the movie IRobot, literally.

As far as I see the internet and ask a question it gives expert answers. That's why is there a human behind AI or just a true AI. And that too the wordings are precise and comparative accurate.

"never bring fish to microwave in the communal kitchen" 🤯🤯😂😂 wow, that play was better than the joke about alien baby

Let's address the elephant in the room; what we all really want and are waiting for are robot girlfriends.
