First Smart Driving Lesson With Instructor

In Charlie's first driving lesson we did an assessment for learning.
We determined how comfortable he was driving the vehicle and the skills and abilities he needed to work on for his driver's test.
In the parking lot we worked on slow speed maneuvers to improve his awareness of where the vehicle was in relation to other traffic.
And finally, we Charlie learned the critical skill of observation.

As someone in Ohio learning maneuverability to take my test, it is definitely something! But I have found it extremely useful to me in my overall driving so that's good lol. It has made me more confident in executing different maneuvers

I failed for my first driving exam because I panicked due the examiner being rude while I was driving. He also kept looking on his phone the whole time. He kept telling me I failed and slammed my door so hard . He didn't even mention what mistakes I made. Thr second time I did the driving road test, I passed and the examiner was so chill, and even smiled while I drove but still was paying attention to where I was going. He told me I passed. He even told me to relax in the beginning before entering the car and in the end after he told me I passed and what minor mistakes I've made, he said, "take care, enjoy your driving."

Love your videos. Learned a lot of tips for driving better. I currently have my N and I’ve had it for longer than I’d like to admit. (Excessive speeding multiple times) has been the main reason why I’ve taken so long to get my full license. How do the road tests work in BC nowadays? I’m located in North Vancouver Canada btw. Are the tests harder or? I’ve been thinking of hiring a driver instructor for a quick test to make sure I’m 100% able to pass. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hey Rick my road test is in a couple days and I'm taking it in a small town where the roads have potholes and bumps everywhere and just wanted to know what the recommended speed limit is. I usually drive 40 but wanted to know if the examiner will fail me for going to slow (10 under the speed limit)

I have driving anxiety and the worst thing is I'm not confident at all when it comes to such things. I always end up scratching my car, parking too far from the curb, being unable to change lanes because i'm not sure if the car is far I have difficulty understanding the surrounding of my car, how close or far things are ? And the problem is, no instructor in my area teaches such things to me, they just teach basic driving wish they also used cones like that because I feel like it would help me out so much on understanding the distance from my car and the object outside. Do you have any tips on my situation ?

hmm, my test is on the 20th, i don't think i'll do too bad..i have a car i got in December last year..the tags are old and it's not even register in my name yet..just due to weird covid scheduling and work..been driving to and from work since mid march last month tho..so some experience driving..luckily i never got pulled over..yea that would have been bad, haha!
